Favorite Things to Do in Hawaii
I will post my travel journals for Hawaii soon. But here is a list of my favorite things to do in Hawaii. I hope you come back to read the travel journals when they are posted. A friend has my photo albums right now, and the trip was before digital cameras, so they are not stored on my hard drive. Therefore, I don’t have many pictures of Oahu and The Big Island to share right now. Perhaps the pictures of Kauai and Maui will make up for it.

National Take A Hike Day
November 17, 2014 is National Take a Hike Day. As much as I might want to say this as a practical joke, I’d much prefer taking a real hike with backpacks and muddy hiking boots. But, alas, my bills I must pay, therefore, I cannot take a hike today. Instead, I’ll have to imagine I’m savoring a picnic lunch by a waterfall, listening to the crashing water, and reveling in the still of the woods. Oh so rejuvenating. Darn, I need to get back to work.

Yellowstone Vacation – Part 4
Wednesday, September 12, 2001
Wednesday morning, we woke up and Terry’s right eye was swollen shut, and his left eye was about halfway shut. We went to the emergency walk in clinic where they cleaned out his eyes. They also gave us a prescription for antibiotic eye drops and a cream to help with the swelling.

Terry and PJ’s Adventures in Japan – May 2000
Friday, May 19, 2000
We flew from Florida to Tokyo to visit our friend while he was stationed in Japan. Chuck (our friend and U.S. Naval Officer stationed in Yokosuka) found us at the airport right on time. Chuck’s house was about 2 hours from Narita airport. We took a wrong turn on the way home, so it took a little longer to get there.

Yellowstone Vacation – Part 3
Monday, September 10, 2001
Terry and I saw the elk again this morning. He had a stick with some streamers stuck in his antlers. Later that morning, we saw the rangers tranquilize him so that the stick could be removed. On a side note, The buck had a very shrill mating call. It was higher pitched than either of us would have anticipated.
